Senior Housing & Regeneration Lawyer | Manchester city centre Leading Housing & Regeneration Team | Affordable Housing & Development Work | Senior Associate to Legal Director | Excellent Career Progression We are working with a highly regarded, full-service UK law firm looking to appoint a Senior Housing & Regeneration Lawyer to join its established and growing Housing & Regeneration team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest-growing and most highly regarded Housing & Regeneration practices, advising a strong portfolio of registered providers and developer clients on complex, high-value affordable housing and residential development transactions. The firm is open to considering candidates at Senior Associate, Managing Associate and Legal Director level, depending on experience and seniority. The Opportunity You will: · Lead complex affordable housing development transactions, including Section 106, golden brick, turnkey and package deals · Advise on strategic land acquisitions and disposals · Work on conditional contracts, options, promotion agreements, overage and collaboration agreements · Advise on funding arrangements, leasehold structures and portfolio management matters for registered providers · Take responsibility for key client relationships, providing commercially focused and pragmatic advice · Work closely with senior lawyers and recognised practitioners across the national Housing & Regeneration practice · Supervise, support and mentor junior lawyers, with the opportunity to play a key role in the development of the wider team · Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the Housing & Regeneration practice The Team · One of the UK's fastest-growing and most highly regarded Housing & Regeneration practices · Strong national reputation for affordable housing and residential development work · Acts for a leading portfolio of registered providers, developers and other key sector clients · Advises on complex, high-value and strategically important transactions · Collaborative, supportive and down-to-earth culture · Strong emphasis on client relationships, professional development and long-term progression · Excellent platform for an ambitious senior lawyer looking to take the next step in their career Why Apply? · Join a leading Housing & Regeneration team with a strong national reputation · Work alongside experienced practitioners on high-quality and complex transactions · Gain genuine autonomy and responsibility across a varied caseload · Develop key client relationships and become a trusted adviser to leading sector clients · Take on leadership, supervision and mentoring responsibilities · Contribute to the continued growth and direction of an ambitious practice · Benefit from excellent career progression and long-term development opportunities · Flexible hybrid working, with around two days per week in the Manchester office preferred but there is flexibility on this The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Housing & Regeneration, affordable housing or residential development, together with excellent technical and client management skills.
